Meet Jorge — Owner & Founder

I wasn't born in San Antonio, but I chose it. I grew up in Guatemala, moved here in 2010, and never looked back — even when opportunities came to leave. This is where Karen and I are raising our two daughters, and there's nowhere else I'd rather build something.

My path to window cleaning wasn't a straight line. I studied architecture and cybersecurity, worked in a Chick-fil-A kitchen, climbed from phone support to supervisor at a cable company, spent a year doing mission work across the US, then spent years as a Quality Engineer for Continental Automotive — supporting major auto manufacturers and training engineers across the country. After that, I led construction and remodeling projects for our local church.

Then Karen and I took a leap of faith and started Celestial.

Not because window cleaning was the obvious next step — but because we felt it was exactly what we were supposed to do.

Every role I've held has shaped how we work. From engineering, I brought precision, process, and a zero-tolerance standard for "good enough." When I started Celestial, I had the privilege of learning from Keith Witt of Winco of South Texas — a three-time Guinness World Record holder for speed window cleaning. Speed and precision aren't opposites. Done right, one demands the other. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every job.

 
Why "Celestial"?

Jesus taught us to pray: "Your kingdom come, your will be done — on earth as it is in heaven."

We take that seriously. We don't believe you have to wait to experience something heavenly. We believe it can start here, in the everyday moments — including the moment you open your blinds and light floods back into your home.

That's what we're after. Clean windows are just where it begins.

Karen is the creative force behind everything you see — our content, our voice, our brand. This has always been a team effort, from the decision to leave engineering to every job we take on today.

As Celestial grows, so does our mission. We're not just looking to hire — we want to be a stepping stone for the people who work with us. To teach skills, build mindsets, and give people the tools to succeed — even if that means they eventually go start something of their own. That's what we mean when we say we invest in our community. It's not just a line on a website.
